Jesuit General Pedro Arrupe’s Vietnam War: Jesuit Dan Lyons advising General Abrams, 1960s

Pedro Arrupe was one of the most evil men of the Twentieth Century. He oversaw the incineration of over 200,000 Japanese residents of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945. His Jesuit physicists constructed the atomic devices on the ground and then, at the precise moment, detonated the bombs to the delight of acting Jesuit General Norbert de Boynes. For his obedience in extirpating the “infidel” Japanese, he was chosen to be Superior General of the Society in 1965. He then became the master of Francis Cardinal Spellman’s War in Vietnam, directed the pro-Black, socialist-communist Uncivil Rights Movement (via Spellman’s Jesuit John LaFarge) while overseeing the IRA’s anti-Protestant rioting in Protestant Belfast, Ireland.
